Job Description

Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of Cenomi Centers' financial reporting processes. Ensures adherence to international and local accounting standards while providing critical financial insights to support decision-making.

Job Responsibility

1. Implement accounting and reporting policies and procedures and ensure compliance with adopted international and local standards such as GAAP, IAS and SOCPA.
2. Ensure the timely and accurate closing and consolidation of all ledgers and accounts on a quarterly and annual basis.
3. Manage and control the execution of all accounting reconciliation activities at corporate, regional, property and project level.
4. Ensure the development of financial statements for Cenomi Centers and related legal entities / subsidiaries / affiliates or JVs (if required/ applicable)
5. Approve and oversee the preparation of all financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annually)
6. Review projects accounting statements, reporting, and transactions.
7. Review forecast of costs and timelines based on changes in the cost structures
8. Manage ERP accounting systems in coordination with IT
9. Provide all support to external auditors and promptly clarify all audit queries raised
10. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth external Audit verification in accordance with statutory requirements and applicable international accounting standards
11. Ensure the provision of ad hoc and special analyses such as financial analysis and cash flow forecasting for departments and subsidiaries
12. Ensure the provision of any information requested by external authorities for instance Labour Ministry, Visa Authorities, etc. to meet statutory requirements for Pension Authority and Social Security
13. Provide assistance to Zakat Team for any issues related to Zakat and VAT
14. Review the Fair Valuation of Investment Properties and ensure that macro-economic indicators, assumptions, occupancy, and cost assumptions are consistent with the prior period valuations or management assumptions and with approved feasibilities
15. Perform added roles and tasks as per management needs.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA • Masters degree in accounting is preferred
• 7+ years of experience of financial accounting and management accounting experience including 2 to 3 years in a management role
• Understanding of listed companies regulatory requirements, CMA regulations and accounting standards (e.g. SOCPA, IFRS, GAAP and IAS)
• Experience of accounting within real estate or related industry is preferred
• Experience in complex Group-wide accounting and reporting, preferably in a publicly listed company
• Knowledge of and ability to apply international accounting standards and ERP systems
