Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cybersecurity Specialist (اخصائي امن سبراني) role based in Riyadh. The Cybersecurity Specialist will monitor networks and systems for security incidents, analyze alerts, and respond to potential threats in a timely and structured manner. Daily responsibilities include managing security tools, performing vulnerability assessments, supporting secure configuration and hardening activities, and assisting in incident investigations and reporting. The role also involves documenting security procedures, supporting compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations, and collaborating with IT and other teams to implement best practices. The specialist will contribute to user awareness by providing guidance on secure behavior and participating in security training or drills as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and common threat vectors.
• Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments, basic penetration testing, and risk analysis.
• Knowledge of incident response processes, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NCA, ISO 27001, NIST) is preferred.
• Proficient in analyzing logs, interpreting security alerts, and documenting findings clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, SSCP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh and maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
