المهام والمسؤوليات
- تقديم التفسير النقدي للبيانات العلمية وتحديد الأثر المحتمل للأبحاث الجديدة على الفهم العلمي والطبي للحافظة الموكلة.
- مشاركة الرؤى القطرية/الإقليمية مع الفرق العالمية لضمان عكس احتياجات الدولة/المنطقة في الاستراتيجيات والأنشطة الطبية العالمية.
- تقديم معلومات طبية وتعليم متوازن لمقدمي الرعاية الصحية والدافعين لدعم الاستخدام الآمن والفعال لأدوية Vertex لدى المرضى المناسبين.
- تعزيز وصول المرضى إلى أدوية Vertex من خلال دعم المنظمة التجارية في إعداد/مراجعة ملفات السداد وعرض البيانات العلمية لأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين عند الحاجة.
- أداء/الإشراف على التدريب الطبي/العلمي للفرق الطبية الميدانية والتجارية وغيرها من الأطراف الداخلية حسب الحاجة.
- المساهمة في فريق العلامة التجارية المحلي (Brand Team) من خلال تمثيل الخبرة العلمية والطبية في مجال العلاج وضمان أن جميع الأنشطة تراعي سلامة المرضى وتحترم سلامة البيانات.
- ضمان الامتثال على المستوى القطري لسياسات الشركة وإجراءات التشغيل القياسية للشؤون الطبية (SOPs) والممارسة السريرية الجيدة (GCP) والمؤتمر الدولي للتنظيم (ICH).
- تقييم المواد الترويجية المحلية وضمان أن جميع الادعاءات مدعومة بالكامل بالبيانات العلمية وتُعرض بطريقة دقيقة وعادلة ومتوازنة.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- فهم قوي لأمراض الكلى (Nephrology).
- خبرة في كتابة أو مراجعة الاتصالات العلمية.
- فهم جيد للصناعة الدوائية في السياق الدولي.
- القدرة على بناء علاقات في بيئة عالية التعقيد المصفوفي بالإضافة إلى علاقات خارجية مع القادة وخبراء المجال.
- خبرة في تصميم وتخطيط الاستراتيجيات الطبية وتنفيذ أنشطة التعليم الطبي والتواصل.
- فهم قوي لأساليب الإحصاء.
- القدرة على المشاركة في حوار إيجابي وحل النزاعات بطريقة بناءة.
- قيادة وخبرة كبيرة في إدارة الأفراد.
- خلفية علمية (مثل طبيب، دكتوراه PhD أو دكتور صيدلة PharmD).
- خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في الشؤون الطبية في شركة أدوية متعددة الجنسيات في السوق السعودي.

Job Description
The Medical Affairs Director provides medical and scientific leadership in glomerular diseases therapy area (IgAN) within GCC. This role will work closely with a cross-functional group to ensure that scientific and medical strategies are aligned with broader corporate and key stakeholder needs and will ensure the flawless execution of the country medical plans, with a primary focus on KSA.

Key Responsibilities
- Critically interprets scientific data and determines the potential impact of new research on scientific and medical understanding of assigned portfolio
- Shares country/regional insights with global teams to ensure global medical strategies and activities reflect the needs of the country/region
- Provides fair and balanced medical information and education to health care professionals and payers that support the safe and effective use of Vertex medications in the appropriate patients
- Fosters patient access to Vertex medications, by supporting the commercial organization in the preparation/review of reimbursement dossiers and presenting scientific data as required to key stake holders
- Performs/oversees medical/scientific training for field medical teams, commercial, and other internal stakeholders as required
- Contributes to the local Brand Team, representing the therapy area scientific and medical expertise and ensuring all activities address patient well-being and respect data integrity
- Ensures compliance at country level with company policies, medical affairs SOPs, GCP and ICH
- Assesses local promotional materials and ensures that all claims are fully supported by scientific data, and are presented in an accurate, fair and balanced manner
- Strong understanding of Nephrology (Kidney disease)
- Experience in writing or reviewing scientific communications
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry International setting
- Ability to develop relationships in a highly matrixed environment, as well as external relationships with leaders and industry experts
- Experience in designing, planning medical strategies and executing medical education and communication activities
- Strong understanding of statistical methods
- Ability to engage in positive dialogue and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner
- Leadership and significant people manager experience.
- Scientific background (e.g., Physician, PhD or PharmD)
- Minimum 10 years of medical affairs experience in multinational pharmaceutical in KSA market
