Role Description The BIM Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing detailed electrical BIM models for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. This full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia involves collaborating daily with design, civil, structural, and MEP teams to resolve clashes, maintain model accuracy, and support interdisciplinary coordination. The role includes preparing electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and equipment modeling, as well as producing construction drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from the BIM environment. The BIM Electrical Engineer will support shop drawing production, respond to site coordination requests, and update models based on design changes, RFIs, and as-built conditions. The position also involves contributing to BIM execution plans, maintaining model documentation, and supporting QA/QC processes to ensure data consistency and compliance with company and client BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM and CAD tools for electrical engineering (e.g., Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 or similar platforms).
• Strong electrical design and engineering knowledge, including power distribution, lighting, low current systems, and coordination with other MEP disciplines.
• Experience in model coordination, clash detection, and integration of electrical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP models.
• Ability to produce and manage detailed drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models with attention to accuracy and constructability.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes, project standards, and BIM execution plans within EPC or design-build environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; recognized professional certifications in BIM or Revit are an advantage.
• Experience on large building, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects, ideally in the Middle East or similar markets.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams
