المهام والمسؤوليات
- إعداد وتقديم المحاضرات والندوات والدروس الإرشادية عبر الإنترنت.
- تطوير وصيانة المواد الدراسية والمحتوى العلمي للمقررات.
- تصميم أدوات التقييم (واجبات، اختبارات قصيرة، امتحانات).
- تصحيح الأعمال وتقديم ملاحظات بنّاءة وفي الوقت المناسب.
- تخصيص ساعات مكتبية افتراضية ودعم الطلاب عبر منصات التعلم والبريد الإلكتروني وأدوات مؤتمرات الفيديو.
- المساهمة في تحسين المقررات وضمان توافقها مع مخرجات البرامج.
- الالتزام بسياسات الجودة والأخلاقيات والنزاهة الأكاديمية.
- التعاون مع منسقي البرامج وأعضاء هيئة التدريس لمشاركة أفضل الممارسات والحفاظ على المعايير الأكاديمية.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- مؤهلات أكاديمية متقدمة (درجة ماجستير على الأقل، والدكتوراه مفضلة) في تخصص ذي صلة، مع خبرة في التدريس الجامعي أو الإشراف الأكاديمي.
- إجادة منهجيات التدريس عبر الإنترنت، بما في ذلك أنظمة إدارة التعلم (LMS) والفصول الافتراضية وأدوات التقييم الرقمية.
- مهارات قوية في تطوير المقررات والمناهج (إعداد الخطط الدراسية، مخرجات التعلم، خطط الدروس المنظمة للتوصيل الإلكتروني).
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل الكتابي والشفوي، مع القدرة على شرح المفاهيم المعقدة بوضوح لمتعلمين متنوعين في بيئة إلكترونية.
- قدرة مثبتة على تقديم تصحيح عادل ومتسق وملاحظات مفصلة وبناءة تدعم تعلم الطلاب وتقدمهم.
- مهارات تنظيمية وإدارة وقت قوية، مع القدرة على الالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية وإدارة عدة فصول أو مجموعات دراسية والحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة.
- الراحة في العمل المستقل في بيئة عمل عن بُعد كاملة، بالإضافة إلى التعاون مع الزملاء عبر مناطق زمنية وخلفيات ثقافية مختلفة.
- الالتزام بالنزاهة الأكاديمية، وممارسات التدريس الشاملة، ودعم المتعلمين من خلفيات وقدرات متنوعة.
- خبرة سابقة مع برامج التعلم الإلكتروني أو التعليم عن بُعد أو الجامعات الإلكترونية تعتبر ميزة قوية.

Role Description This is a remote, contract role for Online Academic Staff supporting SUST’s bachelor’s, master’s, and bridging programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering online lectures, seminars, and tutorials; developing and maintaining course materials; and designing assessments such as assignments, quizzes, and exams. The role also involves grading and providing timely, constructive feedback; holding virtual office hours; and supporting students through learning platforms, email, and video conferencing tools. Academic staff are expected to contribute to course improvement, ensure alignment with program outcomes, and uphold institutional policies on quality, ethics, and academic integrity. Collaboration with program coordinators and other faculty to share best practices and maintain consistent academic standards is also required.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Advanced academic qualifications (at least a master’s degree, PhD preferred) in a relevant discipline, with experience in higher education teaching or academic supervision.
- Proficiency in online teaching methodologies, including learning management systems (LMS), virtual classrooms, and digital assessment tools.
- Strong skills in course and curriculum development, including preparing syllabi, learning outcomes, and structured lesson plans for online delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners in an online environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide fair, consistent grading and detailed, constructive feedback that supports student learning and progression.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple classes or cohorts, and maintain accurate records.
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote setting, as well as collaborating with colleagues across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
- Commitment to academic integrity, inclusive teaching practices, and supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Prior experience with e-learning programs, distance education, or online universities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in relevant languages of instruction and familiarity with international higher education standards are an advantage.
