Merak Production is a creative production company specialized in developing campaigns, films, and documentary series - transforming ideas into content that resonates with audiences and serves each client's identity. As our projects continue to expand, we are looking for a Creative Writer & Concept Developer to craft original ideas and compelling narrative content aligned with our clients' needs. You will work closely with our production, directing, and design teams to produce content that moves audiences and delivers results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and craft creative concepts for campaigns, films, and documentary projects
• Write creative treatments and scripts with a strong narrative voice
• Build storytelling structures that serve each project's identity and target audience
• Pitch ideas confidently to internal and external clients
• Collaborate with production, directing, and design teams to ensure high-quality execution
• Deliver executable ideas within defined timelines and budgets
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with creative direction
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Journalism, Literature, Film, or any equivalent field - or a strong portfolio that demonstrates the required skills
• Saudi nationality
• 1-3 years of creative writing or content development experience, preferably in media agencies or production houses
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse creative work across formats and industries
• Excellent command of Arabic with exceptional writing and editing skills
• Good command of English is a plus
• Strong narrative sense and deep understanding of cinematic language and documentary structure
• Professional presentation and pitching skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
