Role Description

The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This includes recording and reconciling transactions, maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring cash flow. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and will assist with audits and financial reporting for management. The position also supports project costing, job profitability analysis, and coordination with operations and procurement teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of construction projects.

Qualifications

• Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and vendor and customer account management.
• Ability to support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and cost tracking for multiple projects.
• Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit preparation.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; experience in construction or project-based accounting is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA, SOCPA) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle confidential financial information responsibly.
