We are looking for a qualified, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations within our EPC contracting and infrastructure projects.

Role Description:

As an Accountant, you will manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Daily Accounting & Ledgers: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and account balances.
• AP/AR & Invoicing: Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Closings & Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end closings, and support budget preparation, financial reporting, and cash flow tracking.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable standards, collaborate with internal departments, and respond to audit requests.
• Process Improvement: Help implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Nationality: Saudi National.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the industrial sector (EPC contracting company experience is highly preferred).
• Core Skills: Strong accounting fundamentals, including general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Reporting & Tech: Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and closing activities. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic financial models).
• Regulations: Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local financial regulations (ZATCA, VAT); familiarity with auditing practices is a plus.
• Education & Certs: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., SOCPA, CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
• Languages: Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Availability: Ability to work collaboratively full-time, on-site in Riyadh.
