جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل تعلن عن توفر وظيفة أستاذ مساعد (Assistant Professor) في الدمام بالمنطقة الشرقية، وذلك بنظام الدوام الكامل والحضور داخل الحرم الجامعي.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تقديم تعليم عالي الجودة لطلاب البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا، بما في ذلك إعداد المواد الدراسية وإلقاء المحاضرات وعقد الندوات والإشراف على المختبرات والتطبيقات العملية (حسب الاختصاص)، وتقييم أداء الطلاب.
- الإشراف على مشاريع الطلاب ورسائلهم العلمية، وتقديم الإرشاد الأكاديمي والتوجيه، مع الالتزام بساعات مكتبية منتظمة لدعم المتعلمين.
- إجراء أبحاث أصلية في مجال التخصص، والسعي للحصول على تمويل داخلي وخارجي، ونشر الأبحاث في مجلات محكّمة، والمشاركة في المؤتمرات الأكاديمية.
- المشاركة في لجان الأقسام والجامعة، والمساهمة في تطوير المناهج وضمان الجودة الأكاديمية.
- الانخراط في خدمة المجتمع والمهنة، ودعم الأهداف الاستراتيجية للجامعة.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- الحصول على درجة الدكتوراه أو شهادة نهائية في تخصص ذي صلة من مؤسسة أكاديمية معتمدة، مع وجود خطة بحثية نشطة.
- قدرة مثبتة على التدريس في التعليم العالي، تشمل تصميم المناهج الدراسية وتطوير أدوات التقييم واستخدام أساليب تعليمية متنوعة.
- مهارات بحثية مثبتة، تتضمن القدرة على إجراء أبحاث مستقلة، والنشر في مجلات مرموقة، والعرض في المؤتمرات الأكاديمية.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role based at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam. The Assistant Professor will deliver high-quality undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching, including preparing course materials, delivering lectures, leading seminars, supervising laboratories or practica where applicable, and assessing student performance. The role includes supervising student projects and theses, providing academic advising and mentorship, and maintaining regular office hours to support learners. The Assistant Professor will conduct original research in their field, seek internal and external funding, publish in peer-reviewed outlets, and present at academic conferences. Responsibilities also include participating in departmental and university committees, contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance, engaging in community and professional service, and supporting the university’s strategic goals.
