Moneymoon is a pioneering Fintech platform transforming short-term microlending through secure, compliant, and seamless peer-to-peer technology. We enable individuals to support one another through a one-month lending model built on transparency, safety, and trust. As we progress through the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) Regulatory Sandbox and prepare for full licensing, robust cybersecurity governance is critical to our mission.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to support and strengthen Moneymoon’s cybersecurity function. The role will focus on cybersecurity governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, policies and procedures, third-party security, incident management, and overall security maturity in alignment with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).

The ideal candidate has hands-on cybersecurity experience within a regulated environment and is comfortable working across technical, governance, and compliance areas.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity strategies aligned with Moneymoon’s business model and SAMA CSF requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and update cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and controls across areas such as access control, incident management, logging and monitoring, business continuity, asset management, and data security.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and support risk mitigation plans, KRIs, and risk reporting.
• Support compliance with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, SAMA third-party risk management requirements, data security, customer protection, and incident reporting obligations.
• Prepare and maintain cybersecurity documentation, evidence, reports, and audit-ready materials for internal and regulatory reviews.
• Coordinate with external vendors, SOC teams, cloud providers, and technology partners to support monitoring, incident detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and patch management.
• Support third-party and cloud security governance, including security reviews, onboarding assessments, SLAs, and continuous monitoring.
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness programs and help promote a security-first culture across the organization.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, incident playbooks, escalation procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
• Prepare regular reports covering cybersecurity KPIs, incidents, risks, compliance status, and maturity progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, preferably within fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of SAMA Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
• Experience in cybersecurity governance, policies, risk assessments, awareness programs, and compliance documentation.
• Good understanding of third-party risk management, cloud security, security operations, incident management, and vulnerability management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain cybersecurity topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
