نبذة عن الوظيفة
تحمل المسؤولية والمساءلة عن رعاية العلاج الطبيعي لمريض أو مجموعة من المرضى بهدف استعادة الوظائف، والوقاية من الإعاقة بعد المرض أو الإصابة أو فقدان جزء من الجسم، ومساعدة المرضى على الوصول إلى أقصى مستويات الأداء. تثقيف المرضى حول تقنيات العلاج الطبيعي.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- التخطيط وإجراء تقييمات شاملة للمرضى ووضع خطط علاجية فعالة ومبنية على أسس سريرية وفقاً للمعايير المحددة للحفاظ على المستوى المهني لجودة رعاية المرضى.
- استخدام مختلف المعدات الميكانيكية والكهربائية والأجهزة التعويضية والتقويمية.
- إظهار الكفاءة السريرية من خلال تقييم فعالية الرعاية المقدمة ذاتياً وتحديد أولويات الرعاية بناءً على إحالة الطبيب و/أو احتياجات المريض مع مراعاة توفر الموارد من الوقت والموظفين والمعدات والإمدادات.
- تقديم خبرة خاصة في تقييم وعلاج الآلام الحادة والمزمنة واضطرابات الجهاز العضلي الهيكلي (المرضى المنومين والمرضى الخارجيين).
- تنسيق عملية التأهيل الطويلة الأمد للمرضى الذين يعانون من إصابات النخاع الشوكي، أو سرطان الدماغ، أو السكتة الدماغية، أو غيرها من الاضطرابات العصبية (المرضى المنومين والمرضى الخارجيين).
- تقديم خبرة خاصة في أداء التقنيات العلاجية مثل العلاج بالحرارة والبرودة باستخدام أجهزة العلاج الطبيعي (SWD, Traction، إلخ)، والتمارين العلاجية، والعلاج الطبيعي.
- توثيق الرعاية المخطط لها والمقدمة وفقاً للمعايير الدولية المقبولة وسياسات مجموعة مستشفيات الحبيب وسياسة توثيق العلاج الطبيعي، والحفاظ على سرية بيانات المرضى والموظفين، وتقييم وتسجيل والإبلاغ عن تقدم المرضى.
- إظهار السلوك الأخلاقي والمناسب للبيئة السريرية بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر الحفاظ على حقوق المريض وكرامته وخصوصيته.
- ضمان الامتثال لمعايير الجودة التي تضعها الهيئات مثل JCIA أو CBAHI، والسعي لدعم وتحقيق الاعتماد إذا طُلب ذلك من قبل مجموعة مستشفيات الحبيب.
- المساعدة في تحسين الجودة في القسم وكجزء من الفريق والسعي المستمر للتميز.

- مراعاة قضايا السلامة والتكلفة والفعالية السريرية عند التخطيط وتقديم الرعاية، وضمان بيئة نظيفة وآمنة لتقديم رعاية المرضى من خلال الفحص المنتظم لمنطقة العمل والمعدات والإبلاغ عن العيوب للقسم المختص.
- المساهمة في إدارة الإمدادات في القسم لضمان استخدام المخزون بأكثر الطرق فعالية.
- السعي لتحقيق 'أفضل الممارسات' في مجال عمله وتحديد الاحتمالات المحتملة لتحسين العمليات والخدمات.
- توفير التثقيف للمريض وأسرته حسب الاحتياجات.
- المشاركة في مبادرات الرعاية المتمحورة حول الشخص التي تطلقها مجموعة مستشفيات الحبيب.
- إثراء تجربة المريض بالرحمة والاحترام والكرامة.
- أداء المهام والواجبات الأخرى القابلة للتطبيق الموكلة إليه في حدود معرفته ومهاراته وقدراته.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في العلاج الطبيعي والتأهيل.
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في بيئة مستشفى.
- شهادات مهنية ذات صلة.
- رخصة سارية المفعول من وزارة الصحة والهيئة السعودية للتخصصات الصحية.

Job Purpose / Objective
- Assume responsibility and accountability for physiotherapy care to individual or group of patients to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part, and help patients reach maximum performance levels. Educate patients regarding physiotherapy techniques.
- Plan and undertake comprehensive assessments of patients and to formulate effective, clinically reasoned treatment plans according to the set standards as to maintain professional standards for quality of patient’s care.
- Utilize various mechanical and electrical equipment, and prosthetic and orthotic devices.
- Demonstrate clinical competence by consistently evaluating the effectiveness of the care delivered by self and establish priorities for care based on the doctor’s referral and/or the patient needs recognizing the availability of resources of time, personnel, equipment and supplies.
- Provide particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of acute and chronic pain and muskoskeletal disorders (In-patients and Out-patients).
- Coordinate the long term rehabilitation process for patient with spinal cord injuries, brain cancer, stroke or other neurological disorders (In-patients and Out-patients).
- Provide particular expertise in performing therapeutic techniques such as heat and cold therapy using physiotherapy machines (SWD, Traction, etc.) therapeutic exercise, treatment and physical therapy.
- Document care planned and delivered in accordance with the acceptable international standards, HMG Policy and Physiotherapy documentation policy and maintain confidentiality of patient and personnel data and evaluate, record and report on patient progress.
- Demonstrate ethical and appropriate behavior for a clinical environment to include, but not limited to, the preservation of patient’s rights, dignity and privacy.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards laid down by such by JCIA or CBAHI and seek to support and achieve accreditation if required to do so by HMG.
- Assist with Quality improvement in the department and as part of the team and on-going search for excellence.
- Report any occurrence not consistent with the operation of HMG and its standards of services for patient, families, visitors and staff and/or any situation which places any person at risk of injury or other harm.
- Consider issues of safety, cost and clinical effectiveness when planning and delivering care and ensure a clean and safe environment for the delivery of patient care by regular checking of work area and equipment, reporting defects to the appropriate department.
- Contribute to the supplies management in the department to ensure that stock is used in the most effective way.
- Strive for “best practices” within own area of work and identify potential possibilities for process and service improvements.
- Provide patient and family education as per the needs.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realms of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities
Education/ Professional Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
- At least Two (2) years of experience in a Hospital Setup.
- Certification : Relevant certifications
- Licensing : Valid registration of MOH & Saudi Council
