Role Description The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, including preparing course materials, delivering lectures and seminars, supervising laboratories or practical sessions where applicable, and assessing student performance. The role includes advising and mentoring students, supporting their academic progress, and participating in curriculum development and course improvement initiatives. The Assistant Professor is expected to conduct scholarly research, publish in reputable academic outlets, and contribute to securing research funding where relevant. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental and university committees, contributing to accreditation and quality assurance processes, and engaging in community and professional service. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Al Saudia, and the successful candidate is expected to be an active member of the campus community.

Qualifications

• Possession of a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching, including effective course design, classroom delivery, and student assessment.
• Evidence of an active research agenda, including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, or ongoing scholarly projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
• Commitment to student-centered learning, academic advising, and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Ability to integrate research into teaching and to contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement.
• Experience with modern instructional technologies, learning management systems, and innovative teaching methods is highly desirable.
• Willingness to contribute to departmental, college, and university service, including committees, outreach activities, and community engagement.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are an advantage.
• International or regional academic experience, and familiarity with accreditation and quality assurance processes, are considered a plus.
