Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the on-site execution of large-scale mixed-use developments in Qatar. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-value projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in shaping world-class infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, strong leadership abilities, and a proven record of delivering major projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for major capital projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with approved schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate daily activities with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve site-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Manage site resources, manpower, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
• Oversee construction planning, scheduling, and reporting activities.
• Drive effective communication between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Ensure successful implementation of sustainability and environmental requirements.
• Support project handover activities and client approvals.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in construction projects.
• At least 15 years of experience as an on-site Construction Manager with a contracting company.
• Proven experience managing mixed-use major capital projects valued above QAR 100 million.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience in the Arabian Gulf region.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site management, and project execution.
• Experience in safety management, quality management, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Previous involvement in projects that successfully achieved GSAS certification is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
