About The Role:

Responsible for identifying and pursuing recovery opportunities from third parties involved in accidents or losses. This involves legal action, negotiation, and coordination with various parties to maximize recoveries for ASF. The Challenge: Claims recovery can be a complex process, involving legal proceedings, negotiation, and coordination with third-party entities. The Claims Recovery Specialist must be skilled in navigating these challenges to secure favorable outcomes.

Responsibilities

General -

• Recovery Identification: Identify potential recovery opportunities from third parties involved in accidents or losses.

• Legal Pursuit: Initiate legal action when necessary to recover funds.

• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with third-party entities.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of recovery efforts and outcomes. • Reporting: Prepare reports on recovery activities and results.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to claims recovery.

Definitive -

1. Extract the report from the system on weekly basis.

2. Call the individuals to collect the recovery amount.

3. Visit governments centers and coordinate with them to receive the amount.

4. Follow up with insurers to collect the amount on weekly and monthly basis.

5. Responsible to achieve the target set by the management.

6. Update the collected amount into the system.

7. Issue a D/N and discharge systematically.

8. Coordinate with Finance to allocate the collected amount.

9. Provide daily, weekly, monthly report

Technical - Functional Requirements

1. Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of legal principles related to claims recovery.

2. Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of insurance products, coverage, and claims processes.

3. Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills to secure favorable settlements.

4. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data related to recovery efforts.

5. Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with legal counsel, third-party entities, and internal stakeholders.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field.

• Professional certifications in insurance or claims handling may be beneficial.
