Manager Powerplant (APU / LEAP / GE GEnx)

We are currently partnering with a leading aviation maintenance and engineering organisation in Saudi Arabia to appoint several Manager Powerplant professionals to support the continued growth of their engine maintenance and repair operations.

These opportunities are available across multiple engine platforms, including:

• Auxiliary Power Units (APU)
• CFM LEAP Engines
• GE GEnx Engines

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced aviation powerplant leaders looking to join a world-class MRO environment and lead high-performing teams responsible for engine maintenance, repair, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage powerplant maintenance operations for assigned engine platforms.
• Oversee maintenance planning, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and testing activities.
• Manage teams of engineers, supervisors, and technicians to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor engine performance, reliability metrics, and maintenance KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, OEMs, suppliers, and support functions.
• Manage resource planning, workforce utilisation, and maintenance scheduling.
• Support budget management and operational performance objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience within Aviation MRO, Airline Engineering, Engine Maintenance, or Powerplant Operations.
• Strong experience supporting one or more of the following:
• APU Systems
• CFM LEAP Engines
• GE GEnx Engines
• Previous leadership experience managing maintenance teams, workshops, or engine shop operations.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety, regulatory compliance, and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced maintenance environment.

Preferred Experience

• OEM, Airline, MRO, or Engine Shop environment.
• Experience with engine overhaul, repair, inspection, and reliability programs.
• Certifications related to powerplant maintenance or aviation engineering are advantageous.
