About the Role:
The job holder is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the design and construction phases of electrical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards, while managing execution to ensure safety, operational efficiency, and timely delivery of high-quality facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Project Management
- Develop project charters and detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, costs, and resources.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and maintain communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and key metrics.
- Manage on-site construction activities ensuring compliance with approved plans, schedules, budgets, and standards.
- Evaluate change requests and assess impacts on scope, cost, and timelines.
- Ensure smooth project handover, including permits, documentation, and operational readiness requirements.
Technical Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate power distribution, lighting, ELV, ICT, and airport electrical systems designs.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve electrical design and construction issues.
- Review electrical technical submittals, calculations, and shop drawings.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures.
- Support resolution of escalated issues and provide assistance as required.
- Escalate complex issues to the relevant authority.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
