Lazard is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager / Analyst to support our MENA Equities platform in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in directing and leading investment processes, generating insights, and managing existing investment portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of market trends, economic indicators, and individual securities, with a proven track record of optimizing portfolio performance.

We’ll Trust You To

• Jointly develop and implement investment policies while directing portfolio management for specific strategies, overseeing a significant amount of assets.
• Assume joint responsibility for all aspects of fund management for the assigned strategy, including investment decision-making and compliance adherence.
• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of market trends, economic indicators, and individual securities to identify potential investment opportunities and associated risks.
• Ensure the timely production of accurate investment reports for both external and internal clients, reflecting performance and strategic insights.
• Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to remain updated on market developments, effectively representing Lazard and articulating the investment approach of the strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize returns while minimizing risks, ensuring alignment with clients' objectives and house risk/return targets.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities, attract new clients, and maintain robust relationships with existing clients.
• Adhere to all relevant rules and regulations governing client portfolio management, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
• Assist in the production of timely and accurate investment reports for clients, facilitating informed decision-making.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Buy-side experience in equities portfolio management, with a proven record across various sectors.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in portfolio management software and financial analysis tools
