A Snapshot of Your Day

As a GT Fact Finder at Siemens Energy, your day will be focused on conducting technical analysis and troubleshooting of gas turbines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. You will oversee the operation and commissioning of turbines, collaborating closely with commissioning teams to facilitate smooth start-up processes. Engaging in hands-on maintenance activities, you will utilize technical documentation to guide your work while ensuring compliance with industry standards and HSE regulations, all while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Conduct detailed technical analysis and troubleshooting of gas turbines to resolve operational issues.
• Oversee the operation and commissioning of turbines, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
• Perform mechanical maintenance activities in power generation and Oil & Gas settings.
• Maintain and update technical documentation to reflect the current status of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
• Collaborate with international teams, proactively identifying and solving problems to drive innovation.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the operation and commissioning of Siemens, Alstom, MHI, or GE turbines.
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills and the ability to work under pressure in challenging conditions.
• Proficiency in IT applications, including Microsoft Office, with additional IT competencies being beneficial.
• Understanding of industry standards for Quality and HSE, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in international teams.
