Job Title: Field Service Engineer - PLC & SCADA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC and SCADA systems to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service activities at customer sites. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, customer-focused, and able to respond effectively to unexpected field challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, control, and automation issues at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs and SCADA applications.
• Provide on-site technical support and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful project execution.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures while working on-site.
• Be available for travel and emergency/breakdown support when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in field service, industrial automation, or control systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs .
• Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including emergency service calls.
