Role Description The مهندس أمن وسلامة مهنية (Occupational Health and Safety Engineer) is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and standards across NewFab’s prefabrication facilities and project sites. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits; identifying hazards; recommending preventive and corrective actions; and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company guidelines. The engineer will provide safety training and awareness sessions for employees and contractors, maintain incident and near-miss reports, and support root-cause analysis for accidents. Collaboration with operations, engineering, and management teams is key to promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Information Security and Security Engineering to design and maintain secure safety-related systems and documentation.
• Knowledge of Network Security and Cybersecurity to safeguard industrial networks, monitoring systems, and safety-related data.
• Understanding of Application Security to ensure safety applications, monitoring tools, and reporting platforms are protected from unauthorized access and misuse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in occupational safety within construction, manufacturing, or prefabricated buildings environment.
• Familiarity with Saudi and international safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001 or equivalent).
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations, and to develop practical mitigation measures.
• Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to influence safety culture at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
