Job Purpose

The Public Market Vice President will play a pivotal role in executing Awqaf Investment Company's public markets investment strategy across public market. The role will lead the investment origination, due diligence, portfolio construction, manager selection, performance analysis and risk oversight to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns in line with the Company's long-term investment objectives, governance standards, and risk framework.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the origination, due diligence, structuring, and execution of public market investment opportunities while ensuring compliance with governance and investment policies.
• Evaluate and monitor external fund managers, SMAs, IPOs, Sukuk issuances, and other public market investments.
• Support portfolio construction, optimization initiatives, manager transitions, and exit strategies.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative performance analysis and risk monitoring to support portfolio-level decisions.
• Develop investment theses through in-depth market, sector, and company research.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Economics, or a related field.
• 7 - 9 years of relevant experience in public markets, asset management.
• Strong investment expertise across financial markets with a demonstrated track record in investment due diligence, evaluation, and execution
• Solid understanding of portfolio construction, manager selection, performance attribution, and investment governance frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as CFA is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
