Role Purpose:
To manage and optimize the company's SAP S/4HANA environment and IT infrastructure while providing regional IT support across multiple sites, ensuring system availability, security, performance, and business continuity, with flexibility to support different locations as needed.
Job Accountabilities:
- SAP Basis Administration: Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and support SAP environments including development, QA, production, and disaster recovery systems.
- SAP System Performance & Availability: Ensure optimal SAP system performance, health monitoring, capacity planning, and high availability of SAP platforms.
- SAP Upgrades, Patching & Transport Management: Perform SAP kernel upgrades, patches, support package implementation, transport management, and system refresh activities.
- User & Security Administration: Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and security controls to ensure secure and compliant access.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure SAP backup integrity, restore readiness, and disaster recovery capability to support business continuity.
- SAP Database & HANA Support: Support SAP HANA database administration, performance monitoring, backup, and basic troubleshooting.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Support: Support SAP infrastructure hosted on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including VM, storage, and network dependencies.
- Incident & Problem Management: Manage SAP and IT-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with SAP support, cloud vendors, and business stakeholders for issue resolution and projects.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology., with Computer Science or Information Technology as major.
- Accredited Certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP S/4HANA System Administration.
- Validates expertise in SAP Basis administration, system monitoring, and SAP landscape management.
- 3-5 years’ experience in SAP Basis Administration and knowledge of enterprise IT support.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.
- Experience in cloud-hosted SAP environments preferred.
