Role Description The Forklift Mechanic role is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in forklifts, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and carrying out repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. The Forklift Mechanic will inspect forklifts, identify worn or damaged parts, replace components, and test equipment after service. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate service records, following safety and manufacturer guidelines, coordinating with the parts team to source required components, and communicating clearly with supervisors and customers about repair status and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in mechanical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of forklifts and related material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems commonly used in industrial forklifts.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and part replacement in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Familiarity with safety standards and safe workshop practices for material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills for using service software and maintaining maintenance records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with service, parts, and operations teams.
• Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanics, automotive, or industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a forklift mechanic or heavy equipment technician is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.
