Role Description The Fire Inspector role is a full-time, on-site position based in King Abdullah Economic City. The Fire Inspector will conduct regular fire inspections of buildings, facilities, and infrastructure to verify compliance with applicable fire codes, standards, and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying fire hazards, assessing life safety systems, reviewing fire protection measures, and preparing clear inspection reports and recommendations. The role involves working closely with clients and stakeholders to support fire prevention programs, advise on corrective actions, and participate in audits and follow-up inspections. The Fire Inspector may also support training initiatives, contribute to risk assessments, and assist in developing and maintaining fire safety procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Fire Inspections and Fire Safety, with the ability to assess buildings and facilities against relevant codes and standards.
• Knowledge of Fire Prevention practices and Life Safety principles, including hazard identification and risk reduction measures.
• Experience with Fire Protection systems, such as detection, suppression, and alarm systems, and familiarity with maintenance and testing requirements.
• Understanding of national and international fire codes and guidelines (e.g., NFPA) and the ability to interpret and apply them in practical settings.
• Relevant certification or diploma in fire safety, fire protection engineering, or a related field; professional memberships are an advantage.
• Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently on-site, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and maintain high ethical and safety standards.
• Previous experience in fire inspection, fire service, or safety roles in industrial, commercial, or community environments is preferred.
