Key Responsibilities

• Management & Coordination:
• Represent the contractor in any required Management Meetings.
• Coordinate internally to ensure risk mitigation plans are executed effectively by the O&M teams.
• Review all site work, prepare Risk Assessments and Mitigation Plans for ongoing O&M activities, and provide necessary training for the team.
• Provide periodic technical reports on asset risk status and the effectiveness of engineering treatment plans.
• Risk Management Planning:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Risk Register for critical assets (Power, Water, Cooling, and Roads).
• Analyze the technical impact of sudden failures on airport operations and establish proactive mitigation plans.
• Assess risks throughout the Asset Life Cycle to ensure long-term operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Business Continuity Management (BCM):
• Prepare and update Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Resiliency Plans for the four core utility services.
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to prioritize engineering responses during system failures.
• Design and execute simulation exercises (Drills) for major technical failures.
• Change Management Planning:
• Evaluate technical risks resulting from changes in equipment, systems, or maintenance procedures before implementation.
• Link engineering change requests to the Risk Register to ensure facility security and safety.
• Develop technical procedures to sustain improvements derived from R&D initiatives.
• Emergency Response & Recovery:
• Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols to ensure rapid restoration of Power, Water, Cooling, and Road services.
• Develop Contingency Plans, such as deploying temporary generators or alternative cooling solutions.
• Ensure all engineering solutions comply with GACA requirements and international safety standards at KAIA.

Education & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, change management, business continuity, project management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in the aviation sector is required
• Hold professional certifications such as RMP (Risk Management Professional), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), or ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager.
• Familiarity with Saudi National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA).
