Role Description The Waterproofing Specialist will be responsible for performing waterproofing work on residential, commercial, and industrial structures, including roofs, basements, foundations, and exterior surfaces. Day-to-day tasks will include site inspections, surface preparation, application of waterproofing materials, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and other trades to plan work, coordinate schedules, and resolve technical issues. Documentation of work completed, reporting on material usage, and basic maintenance of tools and equipment will also be required. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Jiddah, where on-site work is regularly expected, and some work-from-home tasks such as reporting, planning, and coordination may be performed remotely.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in waterproofing, construction, or building maintenance, including practical knowledge of common waterproofing systems and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, project plans, and specifications relevant to waterproofing work.
• Strong understanding of safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with site safety regulations.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in varied weather and site conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, with the ability to identify and resolve waterproofing issues effectively.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, clients, and team members, and for documenting work accurately.
• Basic numeracy and organizational skills for estimating material needs, tracking time, and managing small tasks independently.
• Previous experience in Jiddah or similar environments, and a valid driver’s license, are considered advantageous.
