Job Purpose / Summary:

The Architectural Designer will be responsible for preparing architectural CAD drawings and supporting the engineering and project teams in ensuring the accuracy, coordination, and timely delivery of project drawings and drafting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop architectural CAD drawings, including:

Shop drawings

Layout drawings

As-built drawings

Revise drawings based on project requirements and consultant/client comments.

Create detailed drawings, models, and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively.

• Coordinate drawings with:

Project Engineers

Site teams

Other disciplines (Structural / MEP)

• Ensure drawings comply with:

Project specifications

Applicable standards (SBC / project requirements)

• Maintain proper documentation of drawing revisions and updates.

• Assist in resolving discrepancies or clashes identified during design or execution stages.

• Ensure timely submission of drawings as per the project schedule.

• Maintain drawing logs, revisions, and document control requirements.

• Participate in coordination and progress meetings when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experiencein architectural drafting/design.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in:

AutoCAD (mandatory)

Revit or BIM tools (preferred)

• Good understanding of:

Architectural detailing

Shop drawings and IFC drawings

Construction and coordination processes.

Additional Notes

• Candidate must have solid experience working with CAD design programs.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in prefabricated or modular construction projects.
