Role Description The Art Teacher role at Learning Oasis Int.&Ntl. Schools is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging art lessons, guide students in developing skills in drawing, painting, and other visual art forms, and assess student performance in alignment with school standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, managing a safe and inclusive classroom environment, providing constructive feedback, and integrating art education into the broader curriculum. The Art Teacher will collaborate with other faculty on school-wide projects, exhibitions, and events, and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching and art education skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and foster creativity.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development, including creating structured, standards-aligned art programs.
- Hands-on experience with painting and a range of visual art techniques suitable for different age groups.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Previous classroom teaching experience, preferably in an international or national school setting.
- Effective classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and equitable teaching practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, participate in school activities, and support co-curricular art initiatives.
