cyReporting directly to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, the Mechanical Engineer will lead a team of technicians to fulfil day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities across the Tanajib Cogeneration and Desalination Plant

s.The Mechanical Engineer will support the planning and execution of planned and unplanned outages for major plant equipment and support plant improvement projects. The role is responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities support plant availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets while maintaining high safety and environmental standard

s.The successful candidate will support maintenance planning, CMMS implementation, outage coordination, engineering activities, spare parts management and long-term maintenance strategies. The role will also contribute to strengthening team capability and ensuring effective coordination between Maintenance, Operations and other plant function

Education & Experie

1. nceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Power Plant Engineeri
2. ng.Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in power plants, cogeneration plants, desalination plants or large continuous process faciliti
3. es.Experience in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plants including Gas Turbines, HRSGs, Steam Turbines and auxiliary systems is preferr
4. ed.Experience in plant start-up, commissioning, outage planning and execution is highly desirab
5. le.Strong knowledge of maintenance management practices, CMMS, maintenance planning and reliability improveme
6. nt.Experience managing OEM interfaces, contractors and maintenance activities is preferr
7. ed.Strong understanding of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and applicable maintenance standar
8. ds.Strong leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skil
9. ls.Working knowledge of maintenance budgeting and cost control is preferr
10. ed.Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural tea
