Role Objective

Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in strict compliance with approved project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Management

Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans.

Coordinate work schedules and assignments for construction workers.

2. Safety and Compliance

Enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards.

3. Quality Control

Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.

Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.

4. Material and Equipment Management

Oversee the procurement and management of materials and equipment on-site.

Ensure that materials are used efficiently and stored properly.

5. Communication and Reporting

Serve as the primary point of contact for the project manager and subcontractors.

Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and resource needs.

6. Problem-Solving

Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction operations.

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to find solutions.

Working Relationships & Reporting (Key Responsibility)

Project Manager: Report on daily operations and project progress.

Construction Workers: Direct supervision and support for the team.

Foremen: Collaborate on work assignments and site management.

Subcontractors: Coordinate work and ensure alignment with project goals.

Suppliers: Manage material deliveries and inventory on-site.

Inspectors: Liaise with regulatory inspectors during site visits.

Qualifications

· Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.

3-5 years of experience in construction supervision or related roles.

· Certifications:

OSHA certification or relevant safety training.

· Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficiency in construction management software.
