Job Title: Accountant

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to support our Jeddah operations. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in the Freight forwarding, Logistics, or Transportation sectors, with the ability to manage branch-level accounting functions efficiently and independently.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce
• SOCPA Registered

Experience Required

• Minimum 2-5 years
• Industry: Freight forwarding, Logistics, or Transportation Sector

Skill Required

• Proven hands-on experience in accounting within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation business.
• Good knowledge of freight cost allocation, multi-currency reconciliations, shipment-level P&L tracking, and revenue recognition.
• Expertise in accounting ERPs and advanced Excel. Familiarity with freight & logistics management.
• Strong analytical reasoning, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure with high-volume transactional data.
• Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage branch-level Accounting/financial operations and apply strong accounting principles.
• Handle billing, receivables, payables, petty cash, and reconciliations
• Work with industry-specific documentation
• Coordinate effectively with operations and management teams
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
• Utilize MS Excel for reporting (PivotTables, charts) and work with accounting software
