Purpose:
The Lawyer is responsible for providing legal advisory and support services to the Company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and supporting business operations through effective contract management, legal documentation, and corporate governance practices.
Brief Job Description:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Providing legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable Saudi laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Supporting the management of disputes, claims, and litigation in coordination with external legal counsel.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions, memoranda, and recommendations.
- Supporting corporate governance activities, including board and committee matters.
- Maintaining contract templates, legal registers, and legal documentation systems.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, HR, Finance, and Operations, on legal matters.
- Participating in legal risk assessments and mitigation initiatives across the organization.
- Supporting the development and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) required.
Master's Degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industry or reputable law firm.
