About the Role

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and enforcing health and safety policies on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.

Location: The project location will depend on the project requirements and may be in any region across Saudi Arabia.

Minimum Experience: 5 years

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce health and safety policies on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports.
• Provide safety training and awareness sessions to employees and workers.
• Monitor subcontractors’ activities to ensure adherence to safety requirements.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for safety compliance.
• Coordinate with project management and relevant authorities on safety matters.
• Maintain emergency procedures and ensure preparedness (fire drills, evacuation plans, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Relevant educational background in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• Certification in health and safety management diploma or bachelors.
• Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• HSE Certificate IOSH or OSHA , Nebosh

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and assessments.
• Proficient in preparing reports and documentation.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
