Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hardware, peripheral, and local connectivity failures that cannot be resolved remotely.
• Hardware Deployment: Execute physical setups, moves, and additions of Windows workstations, Huawei switches, access points, and VoIP phones.
• Smart Hands Support: Assist senior infrastructure engineers with physical server swaps, cable patching, and firewall racking.
• SMAX Field Tracking: Process work orders via OpenText SMAX, logging travel time, resolutions, and inventory parts utilized.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on desktop support, field service, or IT technician experience.
• Technology Stack: Strong physical troubleshooting (PC hardware), basic knowledge of Huawei/Cisco patch panels, Windows OS, and VMware.
• Key Requirements: Valid local driver's license and flexibility to travel frequently between project sites.

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA A+ or Network+
