Job Title: Senior Smart City Engineer

Experience : 8-15 Years

Location : Jeddah

Offered Salary : upto 18K SAR

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Smart City Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and management of smart city initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in urban infrastructure, ICT systems, smart city technologies, stakeholder management, and large-scale project execution. This role will be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance city operations, sustainability, public services, and citizen experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Smart City projects and programs.

Manage integrated command and control center (ICCC) initiatives and city-wide technology deployments.

Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, contractors, technology vendors, and stakeholders.

Oversee implementation of smart mobility, smart governance, public safety, smart utilities, and IoT-based solutions.

Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with regulatory, municipal, and smart city standards.

Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives across urban infrastructure.

Review technical proposals, project deliverables, and implementation plans.

Prepare management reports, presentations, and progress updates for senior leadership and government authorities.

Lead multidisciplinary teams including urban planners, GIS specialists, ICT engineers, and project managers.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.

PMP, Prince2, Smart City, or Project Management certifications preferred.

Experience working on government, municipal, smart city, or large infrastructure programs.

Knowledge of GIS, IoT, Data Analytics, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
