Role Description The Audit Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing financial audits for SME clients to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls. Day-to-day activities include reviewing financial statements, assessing accounting records, identifying process and control gaps, and preparing clear audit reports and recommendations. The role involves collaborating with clients to understand their business operations, advising on risk management and regulatory requirements, and guiding junior team members in audit methodologies and best practices. The Audit Manager will also contribute to refining internal audit processes and supporting the development of advisory services. This is a full-time, remote role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations.
• Experience working with Financial Statements and conducting Financial Audits in a professional setting.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions.
• Proficiency with audit tools, accounting software, and spreadsheet applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA) are an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-specialists.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple client engagements in a remote environment.
• Experience working with SMEs or in consulting/advisory roles is beneficial.
