Role Description The Piping Engineer will work on-site in Dammam in a full-time capacity, supporting industrial and construction projects with safe and efficient piping systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing piping layouts and designs, preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams such as mechanical, civil, and project engineers. The role involves performing calculations to size pipes and components, conducting stress analysis to ensure system integrity, and reviewing design documents for compliance with standards and client requirements. The Piping Engineer will support site installation, respond to technical queries, participate in inspections and testing, and help resolve design or construction issues in the field. The position also includes preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Piping Design and layout, including practical experience with piping systems and pipe routing in industrial or construction environments.
• Ability to perform engineering Calculations related to flow, pressure, and pipe sizing, and apply relevant design codes and standards.
• Experience with Stress Analysis of piping systems to assess flexibility, support requirements, and structural integrity under various operating conditions.
• Hands-on knowledge of Piping and Pipe materials, fittings, valves, and associated components, including selection based on service conditions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with industry software and tools for piping design and modeling (e.g., 2D/3D CAD platforms); exposure to specialized piping or stress analysis software is an advantage.
• Understanding of relevant international and Saudi standards, safety regulations, and best practices for industrial and construction projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site with diverse teams.
• Previous experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects in the Gulf region is a plus.
