We are hiring an experienced SAS Engineer (Testing & Commissioning) for a yearly renewable contract in Saudi Arabia. If you have strong expertise in Substation Automation Systems (SAS), Testing & Commissioning, IEC 61850, GE DS Agile, GE D400/D500, Copadata Zenon, and EHV/HV/MV Substations, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Title: SAS Engineer (Testing & Commissioning)

Location: Saudi Arabia, Dammam

Contract: Yearly renewable

Experience: 4+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Testing, Commissioning, and Troubleshooting of Substation Automation Systems (SAS)

• Execute FAT, SAT, and Site Commissioning activities for EHV/HV/MV Substations

• Configure, test, and validate IEC 61850, Modbus, and IEC 101/104 communication protocols

• Work with GE DS Agile software and GE D400/D500 applications during commissioning activities

• Configure and support SCADA/HMI systems using Copadata Zenon

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Protection, Control, and Automation Systems

• Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure timely and successful project execution

• Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and technical documentation

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical Automation Systems

• Hands-on experience with IEC 61850, Modbus, and IEC 101/104 protocols

• Experience with GE DS Agile software and GE D400/D500 applications

• Experience or certification in Copadata Zenon

• Experience working in EHV/HV/MV Substations

• Strong Troubleshooting and Commissioning skills

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
