About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Social Media to lead and scale our social media practice in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a leadership role for a social-first professional with extensive agency experience, proven success in managing high-performing social media teams, and the ability to drive social strategy for enterprise clients.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across social platforms, analytics, governance, operating models, and client engagement, while leading strategic initiatives and new business pitches.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Social Media department, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple client accounts.
• Develop and execute integrated social media strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of social media professionals.
• Drive innovation across content strategy, paid social, community management, influencer marketing, and social listening.
• Define governance frameworks, operating models, and best practices for social media delivery.
• Leverage platform insights and analytics to optimize campaign performance and demonstrate ROI.
• Act as the senior client-facing leader for strategic discussions, workshops, and new business pitches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Creative, Strategy, Digital, Media, and Account Management.
• Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platform updates, AI-driven marketing tools, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing, with significant experience in a digital/creative/media agency.
• Proven experience leading a Social Media department or practice of comparable size.
• Strong expertise across major social platforms including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Snapchat, and YouTube.
• Deep understanding of social media analytics, reporting, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and team structures.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
• Demonstrated success leading client presentations, strategic workshops, and business pitches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with clients in Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the GCC region.
• Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of influencer marketing, paid social, social commerce, and AI-powered marketing solutions.
• Experience managing enterprise or multinational client portfolios.
