Role Summary
The Market Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and supporting regulatory and strategic development initiatives that enhance market growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve regulatory frameworks for market institutions
- Organize conferences, forums, and workshops with financial market institutions
- Enhance the skills and capabilities of market institution employees and contribute to the development of qualification and certification assessments
- Improve internal processes and controls within financial market institutions
- Conduct studies and develop regulatory and technical frameworks to attract foreign investors
- Review and address inquiries and feedback from foreign investors and enhance their participation in the market
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges faced by financial market institutions
- Enable and support market institutions in developing and expanding their business activities
- Identify new market opportunities locally and internationally
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Generate and qualify leads and business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Support business development and growth initiatives
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies
- Monitor market trends and investor needs
- Prepare reports, studies, and strategic presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve market development objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Experience in market development, business development, regulatory work, or related fields
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a regulated environment
- Strong English proficiency
- Experience in financial markets or regulatory institutions is preferred
- Ability to prepare policies, reports, and strategic documents
