Role Description The Senior Accountant role at Osan® is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The individual in this role will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, preparing financial statements and management reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. The Senior Accountant will monitor cash flow, handle payables and receivables, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and assist with audits and tax filings. This role also involves improving internal controls, streamlining accounting procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management and preparation of financial statements.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning to support management decision-making.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and local regulations in Saudi Arabia, and experience supporting audits and tax compliance.
• Advanced skills in accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with finance colleagues and other departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, preferably within retail, fashion, or consumer brands.
