Context:-

We are looking for Master Planning Lead- Urban Planner for PMO project to be based at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. S/he will be responsible for the overall success of the project. S/he will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Project, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. The Master Planning Lead- Urban Planner leads the planning and delivery of urban development projects within the PMO framework. This role bridges urban planning principles with project execution strategies, ensuring developments are functional, sustainable, and aligned with the client’s vision. The Deputy Director is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary inputs-including from designers, engineers, and contractors-and delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Missions/Main Duties:-

• Urban Planning Leadership: Direct the urban planning vision, ensuring all project activities support sustainable, functional, and people-centered urban environments.
• Project Coordination: Manage the integration of planned and reactive technical services into project workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration between consultants, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead consultations with local authorities, developers, community groups, and other stakeholders to align planning outcomes with regulatory and social expectations.
• Strategic Oversight: Guide land use planning, zoning, infrastructure coordination, and public realm design throughout project lifecycles.
• Technical Oversight: Oversee the application of planning codes, design standards, and environmental considerations across all project components.
• Risk and Issue Management: Anticipate and respond to planning and design risks, ensuring timely adjustments without compromising project integrity.
• Quality and Delivery Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet planning and urban design standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Profile/Skills:-

• Minimum 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge in related field / discipline.
• Graduate and relevant postgraduate Degree in related discipline with relevant Certifications and Memberships.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, interpersonal.
• Written, and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare, lead and deliver workshops
