Role Description The Control Room Operator role at AEGIS is a full-time, on-site position based in Jiddah. The Control Room Operator monitors and controls plant systems and equipment from the control room to support reliable power generation and safe operations. Daily tasks include tracking performance indicators, interpreting alarms and system data, coordinating responses to operational issues, and communicating clearly with on-ground teams and supervisors. The role also involves following standard operating procedures, maintaining logs and reports, complying with safety and regulatory requirements, and supporting start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Control Room and Plant Operations skills to monitor, manage, and optimize facility processes.
• Candidates should possess Power Generation and Steam system knowledge to support safe and efficient operation of energy-producing equipment.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to coordinate with field teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders in real time.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, power plant technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in industrial facilities, utilities, or power plants is highly beneficial.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, respond calmly to incidents, and work in a shift-based environment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proficiency with control systems and monitoring software.
