We're Hiring - Montessori-Trained/Certified Kindergarten Teacher Westminster International School | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Westminster International School in Riyadh is seeking a passionate, experienced, and Montessori-certified Kindergarten Teacher to join our founding team in Riyadh. We are looking for an educator who is committed to nurturing independence, curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning in young children.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Riyadh, ideally near Al Nassiriyah District.)

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Primary Education, or a closely related field.
• Formal Montessori Certification (3-6 age group) from an internationally accredited organization (AMI, AMS, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years' classroom experience in a Montessori or Montessori-inspired early years environment.
• Previous experience working in an international school.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English (language of instruction).
• Strong understanding of child development for children aged 3-6 years.
• Experience integrating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into daily classroom practice.
• Ability to establish, organize, and maintain a high-quality Montessori prepared environment.
• Strong observation skills with the ability to document children's developmental progress effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the CASEL Social-Emotional Learning Framework.
• Familiarity with Thinking Schools methodologies, including Visible Thinking, Concept Mapping, and Reflective Learning Routines.
• Previous experience working within the Saudi Arabian or GCC educational sector.
• Experience using digital Learning Management Systems (LMS) for student documentation and parent communication.
