Role Description The Lifeguard role is a full-time, on-site position located in Saudi Arabia at Tarfeeh Fakieh’s waterfront and pool facilities. The Lifeguard monitors swimming areas to ensure guest safety, supervises activities in and around the water, and enforces all safety rules and facility regulations. Responsibilities include identifying and responding quickly to emergencies, performing rescues, administering first aid and CPR when required, and reporting incidents according to company procedures. The role also involves regular inspection of equipment, maintaining clean and orderly poolside and beach areas, and providing clear, respectful guidance to guests on safe use of facilities. Lifeguards collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive guest experience while upholding a safe and healthy environment for visitors of all ages.

Qualifications

• Strong swimming ability and water safety skills, including the capacity to perform rescues confidently in pool and open-water environments.
• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized body, with CPR, first aid, and AED certification or willingness to obtain these credentials.
• Attention to detail and situational awareness to identify potential risks, monitor guest activity, and follow safety protocols consistently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear instructions, support guests of diverse backgrounds, and work collaboratively with team members.
• Physical fitness and stamina to stand for extended periods, respond rapidly to emergencies, and handle rescue equipment safely.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and respond professionally to incidents and guest concerns.
• Previous experience in lifeguarding, aquatic facilities, or hospitality environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs, and commitment to maintaining a safe, guest-focused environment.
