IoT Engineer 

We are seeking an experienced IoT Engineer with strong expertise in Point of Sale (POS) systems, arcade machines, embedded devices, and cloud-connected applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid software development background and experience integrating hardware, software, and networked systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain IoT solutions for POS and arcade machine environments.

Integrate hardware devices, sensors, payment systems, and peripherals.

Develop backend services, APIs, and device management platforms.

Build and maintain desktop, web, and mobile applications.

Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues.

Monitor device connectivity, performance, and security.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of field devices.

Required Skills

Strong experience with C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

Proficiency in Python

Experience with Angular

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

Experience with Android development (Kotlin)

Knowledge of REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture

Experience with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP, and serial communication

Understanding of networking, device connectivity, and remote monitoring

Experience with source control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with POS systems and payment terminals

Experience with arcade machines, kiosks, vending systems, or self-service devices

Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware integration

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for IoT devices

Nice to Have

Experience with RFID, NFC, barcode scanners, printers, and cashless payment systems

Experience with real-time monitoring and telemetry solutions

Understanding of machine diagnostics and remote device management
