Job description:

Job Purpose

Drive and maintain assigned Bus, truck and trailer and any other loading/unloading equipment.

Key Accountability Areas

Responsibility:

• Possesses intricate knowledge of the proper methods of loading, securing loads and unloading supplies and equipment
• Opens bales, crates and other containers using hand tools
• Driving heavy vehicles (buses - trucks, etc).
• Understand traffic policy.
• Operates large tactical vehicles, busses, and ATVs to transport personnel, cargo, fuel, and ammunition over specified routes to local or distant points according to requirements

Quality:

• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors and show openness to directions and feedback.

Delivery:

• Use tools and machinery within efficient cost and time.
• Execute the operational activities as per delivery schedules and work instructions.
