Duty Description:

1. Perform incoming inspection of gas turbine nozzles and related components to identify defects, wear, erosion, corrosion, cracks, and dimensional
2. Conduct visual inspections before, during, and after repair activities.
3. Witness and verify dimensional inspections using calibrated measuring instruments.
4. Monitor welding, blending, machining, heat treatment, and coating activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and specifications.
5. Inspect coating applications, including bond coats, thermal barrier coatings (TBC), aluminide coatings, and other protective coatings used for turbine components.
6. Maintain inspection records and prepare inspection reports in accordance with customer and company requirements.
7. Verify repair dimensions, critical tolerances, and profile restoration requirements in accordance with repair specifications

9. Ensure that all measuring and test equipment used for inspection activities are properly calibrated and within validity.
10. Support the preparation and review of final quality dossiers and manufacturing/repair data records.

Qualification:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection of gas turbine power nozzles repair and refurbishment of GE Frame 5, 6, 7E, and 7EA gas turbine nozzles and hot gas path components.

Preferred Certificates:

1. ASNT Level II in PT, UT.
2. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.

Skills:

1. Strong understanding of gas turbine components and repair processes.
2. Proficiency in inspection tools and dimensional measurement techniques.
3. Good communication and reporting skills.
4. Knowledge of quality control procedures and documentation requirements.
