Field Service Engineer

Working alongside Sportsafe, we provide inspection, maintenance, repair and installation services for schools, sports facilities, gyms, climbing centres, leisure venues and entertainment facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our technical team based in Riyadh.

About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring sports and recreational equipment remains safe, reliable and fully operational.

This is a hands-on, field-based position where you will travel to customer sites across Saudi Arabia to carry out inspections, maintenance, repairs and installations. You will work independently while representing Sportsafe KSA, delivering outstanding technical service and building strong relationships with our customers.

No previous experience with sports equipment is required. We provide comprehensive product and technical training to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on sports, gymnastics, playground and fitness equipment.
• Install, assemble and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform effective repairs.
• Complete digital inspection and service reports accurately and on time.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures and applicable safety standards.
• Deliver professional customer service and provide technical advice when required.
• Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle in excellent condition.
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety and quality on every site.

What We're Looking For

We welcome candidates from maintenance engineering, mechanical engineering, facilities management, technical service, industrial maintenance or equipment installation backgrounds.

Essential

• Practical mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in maintenance, installation or field service.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily site activities.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Valid driving licence recognised in Saudi Arabia.
• Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia, or willingness to relocate under company-sponsored visa and Iqama arrangements.

Preferred

• Arabic language skills.
• Experience with sports, fitness or recreational equipment.
• Experience working at height.
• Basic electrical or electro-mechanical knowledge.
