The Therapeutic Area Partner (TAP) Immuno-oncology - Riyadh is a field-based role responsible for facilitating scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in oncology.

The TAP will serve as the primary point of contact for HCPs, enabling meaningful, timely, and scientifically appropriate engagement. In addition, the TAP is expected to engage with a broader range of stakeholders beyond treating physicians, including clinical pharmacists, HEOR experts, multidisciplinary teams, and other relevant stakeholders. This role is responsible for supporting the safe and appropriate use of BMS products, delivering against overall objectives, and demonstrating BMS values.

The TAP is expected to spend a minimum of 90% of working time in the field, engaging with HCPs through relevant interactions and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disease Awareness and Treatment Landscape expertise
  • Maintain a high level of disease expertise.
  • Collect and synthesize large volumes of clinical data and provide relevant insights to internal stakeholders to inform future strategic direction.
  • Understand the treatment landscape, including HCP mapping, and prepare to address HCP information needs.
  • Identify knowledge and care gaps within the territory and implement learning programs to address HCP needs.
  • Scientific Engagement and Product-related Communication
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan in accordance with agreed metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare effectively for the presentation and discussion of information with HCPs and respond to questions while ensuring medical accuracy.
  • Maintain proactive communication with physicians and other HCPs in support of approved indications.
  • Respond to unsolicited scientific and product-related questions using internally approved tools.

  • Product Enlistment and Economic Value Engagement
  • Develop hospital mapping to enable tailored plans for each hospital.
  • Understand and develop the patient journey for each hospital to identify access barriers and facilitate formulary enlistment.
  • Collaborate closely with key HCPs across hospitals and institutions to support timely access and formulary enlistment of approved indications and products.
  • Communicate the scientific and economic value of BMS products to HCPs, including clinical pharmacists, treating physicians, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Discuss and deliver Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) evidence-based information to relevant stakeholders, including government agencies and healthcare organizations, as appropriate.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Execution
  • Build strong working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders to fully understand HCP challenges and concerns in a complex access environment.
  • Develop and deliver plans aligned with cross-functional team and product objectives.
  • Deliver scientifically meaningful programs related to disease areas and ensure effective execution of activities in support of the overarching plan.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a scientific role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Oncology experience is preferred.
